A solemn Academy ceremony was held at the Precarpathian National University to award diplomas to this year’s master’s graduates. At the beginning of the event, those present honored the memory of the fallen Ukrainians — military and civilian, heroes and heroines of Ukraine — with a minute of silence.
The Acting Rector of the Precarpathian National University, Professor Ihor Tsependa, addressed the graduates with a welcoming speech: “I sincerely congratulate our masters! I always say that we are all proud of you. We are proud because you are young individuals who have made a very important life decision. You have chosen the path of education and science in difficult times for the country, you have stayed with Ukraine, and this is of great importance. This is important not only for each of you, because you are cultivating inner dignity in yourself, but also for the entire country, because it has such young people who do not run away, do not look for ways to avoid difficulties, but remain with it side by side. I am convinced that you are the foundation of our state, which will not only restore the country, but also renew it. Thanks to your knowledge gained at the university, as well as your patriotic stance, which has always been inherent in our institution during various periods of Ukrainian statehood, we have created a powerful intellectual and national force together with you. This will be the core of great changes in Ukraine.
I wish you that the knowledge you have gained and the communication that has formed in you over the years of study will become a source of inspiration and an impetus for new achievements. We are glad that we have been by your side during these years. Your teachers have passed on to you an important baggage of knowledge that will certainly come in handy. Remember this, appreciate your mentors, because they are also a part of you and today sincerely rejoice in your successes. Maintain contact with your teachers, because it is a teacher who will always support and give wise advice in your professional life. We will be glad to see you within the walls of our university as colleagues. Postgraduate studies are open to you, because the scientific schools that have been formed and continue to develop at the university are the powerful potential that allows us to remain leaders of Ukrainian science and partners of leading universities in the world. Many of you have already had the opportunity to see this personally and even participate in international projects. We are not saying goodbye to you, because it is important for us to follow your professional path, to hear your thoughts on the development of the university. After graduating, you will gain a new perspective on the educational process, and your first professional experience will help us become better.
Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University is our common pride and common responsibility. Together we will ensure its development in new realities, and it will continue to remain one of the leading universities in Ukraine!
In turn, the master’s graduates thanked their teachers for the knowledge and practical experience they gained during their studies.
A musical gift from Oksana Romaniuk was presented to the graduates. The dance ensemble “Dyvotsvit” of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Arts also performed on stage with the choreographic composition “Colors of the Carpathians” (directed by Olga Kvetsko).
The solemn moment of the holiday was the presentation of diplomas to graduates of the economic, physical and technical, philological, foreign languages, pedagogical faculties, the Institute of Arts, and the Law Faculty.
Congratulations to our masters on this important achievement! We wish you new achievements, professional growth, and bright opportunities in the future. May the knowledge you have gained become a solid foundation for your success!
