Student journalists from the Faculty of Philology of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian (Carpathian) National University won at the IV All-Ukrainian Open Media Festival “Together to Victory!” Nine students received awards in three nominations at once.
— In the “Video Work” nomination, two videos won the undisputed victory and first place — “Don’t be silent! The prisoner knocks out!” and “Remember the dead” — authored by sophomores Violeta Pisochenko and Taisia Moskal (supervisor Iryna Kopystynska).
— Second place in the same nomination went to sophomores Alina Kurylyuk, Sofia Savchuk, and Solomiya Mykhailyshyn for the video works “Volunteering: Real Actions. Great Results” and “Colors of War: How Creativity Helps Survive a Full-Scale Invasion” (supervisor Iryna Kopystynska).
— In the “Written Works” nomination, second place went to third-year student Sofiya Naumova for the feature report “Four Seasons of Ukrzaliznytsia” (supervisor Solomiya Khorob), and third place went to Khrystyna Hamanyuk for the professional interview “Truth under fire: about the experience of work in today’s conditions” (supervisor Halyna Prystay).
— In the “Social Advertising” nomination, second place was won by sophomore Tetyana Saray, and third place was won by Maria Yovdiy (supervisor Tetyana Strutynska).
